Prashant Gopinathan has worked in the technology field since 2004. Prashant began their career as a Software Engineer at Accenture Pvt Ltd. in 2004. In 2005, they moved to SAS Pvt Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer. Prashant then joined Barclays Technology Center India Pvt. Ltd. in 2009 as an Analyst programmer. In 2010, they joined IBM India Pvt. Ltd. as an Advisory System Analyst. In 2013, they became a Technical Consultant at SAS Research and Development Pvt Ltd. Pune. India. In 2021, they took on the role of Project Manager at Woodpecker analytics and services, as well as Sr. Analyst (Technology) at Stratacent.

Prashant Gopinathan's education history began in 1986 when they attended St Jude High School, Dehu Road, Pune from Kindergarten to SSC. From 1997 to 1999, they attended Modern Education Society's Nowrosjee Wadia College Arts, Science, Pune 01 for Junior college in the field of Science. From 1999 to 2002, they attended Savitribai Phule Pune University for a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Prashant then attended Savitribai Phule Pune University again from 2002 to 2004 for a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
