Nikki Cook has a diverse range of work experience. Nikki started their career as an Intern at High Country Energy Solutions in 2018, where they gained practical experience in solar panel installation and load assessment. In 2016, they became Co-President of Women of Appropriate Technology & Sustainability, where they showcased their organizational and leadership skills by facilitating club meetings and educating students about sustainable technologies.

In 2016, Nikki also worked as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at the Watauga County Swim Complex. During their time there, they ensured a safe and organized environment, while also teaching correct swimming techniques to all age groups.

Moving forward, Nikki joined Blue Raven Solar as a Solar Energy Consultant in 2019. Nikki'srole involved providing solar energy solutions and consulting services to clients.

Most recently, Nikki has been working at Strata Clean Energy. Nikki started as a ROC Operations Analyst in September 2019 and progressed to the role of ROC Operations Analyst II in May 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Remote Operations Center Support Lead.

Nikki Cook attended Appalachian State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sustainable Technology. In addition, they obtained certifications in the OSHA 30 Hour Safety Course from AdvanceOnline Solutions Online Institute and Electric Bike Technician Levels 1,2,3, & 4 from the Light Electric Vehicle Association.
