Kate Jones has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Kate began their career as a Curatorial Assistant at the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2009. After that, they worked at Basis Research, starting as a Research Executive and eventually progressing to higher positions such as Senior Research Executive and Research Manager. During this time, they managed research projects across various sectors and developed strong relationships with clients. Kate also contributed to key projects, including shaping the identities of global channel brands and evaluating new in-store propositions for a UK supermarket.
In 2016, Kate joined The Behavioural Architects as a Senior Strategic Consultant and later became an Associate Director. In these roles, they utilized behavioural science to solve business problems for clients in finance, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and tech. Kate developed behaviourally-driven strategies and communicated them to senior stakeholders.
In 2018, Kate transitioned to Incite, where they initially held the position of an Associate and gradually moved up to become a Principal and then a Senior Principal. At Incite, they led multi-market research and consultancy projects in the Consumer Health, Finance, and FMCG sectors. Kate played a key role in developing Incite's marketing strategy practice and conducted strategic and ideation sessions with senior clients.
Currently, Kate works as a Senior Principal at STRAT7 Advisory, a role they started in December 2022.
Kate Jones has a BA (Hons) in Modern History from the University of Oxford. Kate also has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Architectural History from the Courtauld Institute of Art, U. of London. Additionally, they completed a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson and obtained a certification in Brand Management. In 2014, they obtained a certification titled "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" from Coursera. Kate completed the Marketing Week Mini MBA in 2020.
