Vivek B T has work experience in the field of life sciences. Vivek worked at Strand Life Sciences as a Scientist 1 starting in December 2020. In this role, their responsibilities included DNA and RNA extraction from various sample types, automation of genomic DNA extractions using a liquid handling system, and qualification and quantification of extracted DNA. Prior to that, they worked at Beckman Coulter life sciences as an Advanced Technician from July 2014 to July 2015. In this role, they were involved in tasks such as dispensing and dry-down of liquid antibody cocktails, calibration of Flowcytometer and HPLC, and adherence to ISO9001:2008 standards.

Vivek B T completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biotechnology at Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute Of Technology from 2010 to 2014. Vivek went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology at JSS University (Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University) located in Mysore from 2016 to 2018.
