Neha Kumari R has worked as an Associate Application Scientist at Strand Life Sciences since 2023. In 2021, they held various roles including Member Champion of IEEE MOVE India Education Committee at IEEE India Council, Joint Secretary at BMSCE IEEE PES, Event Coordinator at BMSCE Phase Shift, and Organizing Committee Member at IEEE Sensors Council Bangalore Section. They also served as a Youth Can Lead Fellow at the Office of Tejasvi Surya from April 2021 to July 2021.

Neha Kumari R began their education in 2019 at B. M. S. College of Engineering, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biotechnology. Neha completed their undergraduate studies in 2023.

Throughout their education, Neha also obtained several additional certifications. In December 2022, they completed a course on Computational Techniques for the Analysis of Biological Data at B. M. S. College of Engineering. In September 2022, they obtained a certification in Sarala Samskrita Pariksha (Level 1-4) from Samskrita Bharati. Additionally, they completed an Entrepreneurship I: Laying the Foundation course through Coursera in January 2022. In July 2021, Neha participated in the Youth Can Lead Fellowship program organized by the Office of Tejasvi Surya. Lastly, in April 2021, they completed the Technology Based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDP) at the Bioinnovation Centre in Bangalore.
