Anitha Jayaram has a diverse work experience in the field of life sciences and genomics. Anitha started their career as a Senior Research Fellow at Seribiotech Research Laboratory, Central Silk Board in 2009 and worked there until 2014. Anitha then joined St Johns Research Institute as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2015 to 2017.

In 2020, Anitha joined the Center for Advanced Genomics and Molecular Diagnostics, Kidwai Memorial Institute Of Oncology as a Research Associate, where they worked until 2021. Anitha then moved to Lilac Insights as a Senior Scientific Officer - Genomics, working from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Anitha is employed at Strand Life Sciences as a Clinical Research Scientist, starting from 2022.

Anitha Jayaram pursued their education in the field of Biotechnology. Anitha earned a Master's Degree from Bangalore University between 2006 and 2008. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Mysore, specializing in Biotechnology, from 2010 to 2015.
