Sarah Bening is a Senior Scientist in Vector Engineering at Strand Therapeutics, having joined the company in November 2021 after serving as a Scientist in the same department. Prior to this, Sarah Bening held multiple positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from November 2015 to November 2021, including Postdoctoral Associate, Communication Fellow, and Graduate Research Assistant in the Collins Lab. Sarah Bening's academic journey began at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where an undergraduate career spanned from September 2012 to July 2015, including roles such as Undergraduate Research Assistant, Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Tutor, and Learning Assistant. Sarah Bening earned a PhD in Biological Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
