Justin Letendre is a scientist who specializes in synthetic biology. Justin is currently employed at Strand Therapeutics, where they have been working since November 2021. Prior to their current position, Justin was an intern at Strand Therapeutics, where they developed and implemented in vitro assays for mRNA circuit optimization. Before that, they were a teaching assistant at Boston University and the University of Connecticut. Justin has also worked as an engineering intern at Engineered Fibers Technology, where they developed and fabricated manufacturing processes to meet client specifications. Justin has a strong background in science and engineering, which has allowed him to successfully analyze physical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties of various materials. Justin is also skilled in designing and implementing electronic test equipment and procedures.

Justin Letendre received their Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Justin also holds a certification from the State of Connecticut in Emergency Medical Technician and another certification from the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
