Niravkumar Patel is a Sr. Scientist at STR since January 2020, with prior experience as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where a web app for house flipping was developed. Niravkumar completed a postdoctoral research position at The Ohio State University, focusing on quantum spin liquids and publishing four articles. At the University of Tennessee, Niravkumar served as both a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, contributing to the publication of eleven research articles and teaching college physics labs. Experience includes research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where projects on low-dimensional materials were led, and an earlier role at the University of Central Arkansas involving elemental composition analysis for NASA. Education includes a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Tennessee and a BS in Physics from the University of Central Arkansas.
