Kaitlyn DeCola is a skilled Research Engineer currently employed at STR since June 2023, previously serving as an Associate Research Engineer and Co-op at the same company. In earlier roles, Kaitlyn excelled as a Software Developer Intern at Savvas Learning Company, where significant contributions included the development of an external health check system using AWS and Python. Additionally, Kaitlyn participated in DARPA’s CauseX Project as a Co-op with STR, enhancing software systems and test frameworks. Earlier experiences also include grading computer science coursework at the Rochester Institute of Technology and creating an arts and crafts program for campers at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, completed in 2023.
