Jason Harrington has extensive work experience in the field of signal processing and engineering. Jason started their career as a Principal Engineer at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems in 2006 and worked there until 2010. Jason then joined Leidos, where they held multiple roles, including Signal Processing Engineer III, Signal Processing Engineer IV, and Signal Processing Engineer V, from 2010 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Chief Scientist at Leidos. In 2022, they joined STR as their Chief Scientist.

Jason Harrington completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2001 to 2004. After that, they pursued their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Signal Processing at the same university from 2005 to 2006.
