Chris Blinkhorn has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Chris started their career as a Junior Engineer at Elite Homes North West Ltd in 2004 and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they served as an Assistant Engineer at Bovis Homes. Chris then worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at Sanderson Watts Associates from 2008 to 2010. Chris joined RSK Group plc in 2010, where they held roles such as Infrastructure Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Principal Engineer until 2014. After that, they worked as a Development Manager at Countryside from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, Chris began their tenure at Taylor Wimpey plc as a Senior Design Engineer, followed by roles as an Engineering Manager and Technical Manager. Since 2017, they have been associated with Story Homes, where they have held positions such as Technical Manager, Group Technical Manager, Head of Technical (Operations), Technical Director, and currently, Operations Director.

Chris Blinkhorn attended Warrington Collegiate from 2005 to 2006, where they pursued a National Award in Construction/Civil Engineering. Chris then continued their education at the same institution from 2006 to 2008, earning an HNC degree in Construction/Civil Engineering.
