John Platt possesses extensive experience in the field of technology and data science, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Machine Learning, and Lead Data Scientist at StormForge since July 2016. Prior to this role, John was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Carnegie Institution for Science from January 2015 to July 2016. John’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, as well as dual Master’s Degrees in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
