Theron Trout has held several senior executive roles throughout their career. In 2007, they joined Mellonway LLC as Principal and COO, a position they held until 2018. From 2010 until 2014, they worked as Chief Scientist at Secure Mission Solutions, a Parsons Company. Most recently, in 2016, they became President and CEO of Stormfish Scientific Corporation.

Theron Trout earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and minored in Physics and Mathematics from Marshall University. The dates of enrollment are not given.
