JT Olio is a highly accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in cloud storage and distributed systems. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Strategy Officer at Storj since March 2018, JT has also held roles including Chief Technology Officer, VP of Engineering, and Director of Engineering. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Vivint Smart Home as Vertical Lead for Cloud Storage and Director of Engineering, as well as significant contributions at Space Monkey, Instructure, and Mozy. Notable achievements encompass the development of a massively distributed storage system and pioneering work in cloud integration and database architecture. JT holds a summa cum laude BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, along with an MS in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
