Kai Kai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and machine learning, currently serving as Senior Manager for ML and Feature Horizontal Infrastructure at Stori since November 2021. Previously, Kai held various roles at Capital One from May 2018 to November 2021, including Manager of Data Science, where significant contributions included the development of a distributed ETL pipeline for credit data processing and the creation of real-time feature generation applications for risk models. Prior to Capital One, Kai worked as a Senior Research Scientist at NOAA, focusing on satellite Sea Surface Temperature data products, and held research positions at Georgetown University, Penn State University, and NIST, contributing to multiple advanced simulation and modeling projects. Kai holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Physics from Nanjing University.
