Trond Nordseth is an Associate Professor at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) since 2014 and a Consultant in Anesthesiology at St. Olavs hospital, Trondheim University Hospital since 2007. Nordseth has also served as a Resident in Anesthesiology and has been an Encyclopedia Writer for Store norske leksikon since 2017, focusing on First Aid and Emergency Medicine. Additionally, Nordseth held the position of Chairman for the Norwegian Resuscitation Council from November 2014 to December 2023 and worked as a Consultant in Anesthesiology at Helse Møre og Romsdal HF from 2018 to 2020. Experience includes serving as a HEMS-physician for the Norwegian Armed Forces from 2017 to June 2020. Nordseth's education includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine from NTNU, and participation in the Global Clinical Scholar Research Training Program at Harvard Medical School. Nordseth earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from NTNU between 1999 and 2005.
