Mikko Suominen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mikko started their career at Sensor Software Technologies as a Software Developer from June 2001 to February 2002. Mikko then joined Ericsson in May 2002 and held multiple positions including roles such as SW Developer, System Designer, Technical Coordinator, Senior Specialist, Product Owner, Program Manager, R&D Project Manager, and Head Product Owner. During their time at Ericsson, they worked on projects related to Internet of Things (IoT), router series, transmission, and development of various software solutions.

In 2018, Mikko Suominen joined Lempea as the Director, Program Management & Business Development and later became the Director of Engineering for RAIN in September 2020, where they held this position until February 2022.

Most recently, Mikko Suominen joined Stora Enso in May 2022 and has taken on roles such as Senior Solution Architect, Cloud Solutions and IIoT, Head of Operations IT, and currently, the Head of Operations IT Shared Solutions.

Throughout their career, Mikko Suominen has demonstrated their expertise in software development, project management, program coordination, and leadership roles in the technology industry.

Mikko Suominen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Telecommunications from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, during the period of 1999 to 2004.
