Matt Lawrence has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Matt started as an Assistant General Manager at Great Wolf Lodge in 2010 and was promoted to General Manager in 2012. In this role, they were responsible for financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. Matt then joined Schlitterbahn Waterparks & Resorts in 2015 as a General Manager. Finally, in 2019, they joined Stoney Creek Hospitality, where they held various roles including General Manager, Dual General Manager, and currently serves as the Regional Director of Operations.

Matt Lawrence attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management.
