Jack Sills has a diverse range of work experience in the music industry. Jack is currently the Director of Licensing and Publishing at Stones Throw Records since 2022. Prior to that, they founded and owned their own record labels, Day End Records and Day End Music, in 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Music Curator for Re/done, curating vinyl records for an online marketplace and selecting music for promotional playlists. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Light In The Attic Records & Distribution, starting as an intern and eventually becoming a Producer, Music Licensing and Publishing Manager, and Project Assistant and Licensing Coordinator. Jack played a key role in expanding the licensing department and growing the catalog to over 10,000 songs. Before that, they gained experience as a Radio DJ and Events Department Manager at UCLA Radio from 2010 to 2012 and as a DJ at KXLU 88.9FM Los Angeles from 2010 to 2012.
Jack Sills obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from UCLA in 2012.
