Todd Gernes, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor of History and Writing Program Director at Stonehill College since July 2008. In this role, Todd has directed a comprehensive writing and rhetoric program, overseeing curriculum design and assessment while coordinating writing initiatives. Previous positions include learning community program director and assistant dean of general education at Stonehill College, as well as roles at the New England Institute of Technology, Emerson College, Providence College, and the University of Michigan. Todd's educational background includes a Ph.D. in American Civilization from Brown University, along with multiple degrees in English and American Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Brown University.
