André MacDowell is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently, André serves as a Senior Engineering Manager at Stone since September 2015, having previously held roles such as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, and Software Developer. Prior to Stone, André co-founded Kimeric Labs and contributed as a Programmer and Game Developer. André also worked as a Researcher and Mobile Developer at the Laboratory for Advanced Collaboration (LAC) from January 2014 to January 2016, focusing on mobile technologies. Earlier experience includes a Software R&D Internship at Tecgraf and a Software Developer Internship at CCEAD PUC-Rio. André holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, as well as additional engineering education from Hanyang University.
