Matthew Frey has been working in the software engineering field since 2012. In that time, they have had a variety of roles at several different companies. Theirfirst role was as a User Interface Developer at Parse3 in 2012. Matthew then moved on to become a Co-op Developer at the same company. In 2013, they worked as a Digital Engineer at REVOLT MEDIA & TV. In 2014, they were a Software Engineer III at ScoreBig Inc. In 2016, they became a Staff Software Engineer at MD Insider. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Amazon, where they held the roles of Senior Front-End Engineer III - IMDb.com, Senior Frontend Engineer III - AWS, Project Sierra, Front End Engineer II - IMDb.com, and Web Development Engineer - IMDb.com. Currently, they are a Lead Software Engineer at Stoke Space.

Matthew Frey attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2013. In 2012, he began a paid internship at Parse3 in Warwick, NY as a Junior Web Developer. At the end of his internship in 2013, Matthew was offered a full time position by CEO Peter Ladka and accepted the role before graduating.
