Alexander Ljungqvist is currently the Stefan Persson Family Professor in Entrepreneurial Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics and serves on the Board of Directors for the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund. As the founder of Nordic Economics Consulting AB, Alexander also holds significant roles in various research institutions, including being a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research and the Research Institute of Industrial Economics. Previously, Alexander was an esteemed faculty member at NYU Stern School of Business for nearly two decades and has contributed as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Alexander's academic credentials include a DPhil and MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science in International Business from Lund University.
