William Korse has a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, spanning over several decades. William currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Stockholm Exergi since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from February 2021 to December 2022, where they served as the Nordic Head of Property & Marine Claims and the Head of Claims Customer & Broker Relationship.

Before joining Zurich, William held various roles at Crawford & Company. From 2015 to 2021, they were the Head of Loss Adjusting. Earlier, they served as the Nordic Head of Bodily Injury from 2011 to 2015, the Nordic Head of Motor & Affinity in 2010, and the Head of Claims Management from 2007 to 2011. William also worked as the Head of Bodily Injury from 2005 to 2010.

Prior to their time at Crawford & Company, William worked at SalusAnsvar Crawford Skadehantering AB. From 2003 to 2005, they held the position of Deputy Managing Director. William also served as the Head of Bodily Injury from 2000 to 2005 and started their career as a Claims Adjuster - Bodily Injury from 1999 to 2000.

William began their insurance career at Trafikförsäkringsföreningen/Swedish Motor Insurers in 1989. William initially worked as a Claims Adjuster in the Motor team until 1994 and later transitioned to a role as a Claims Adjuster - Bodily Injury from 1994 to 1999.

Overall, William has demonstrated a strong and diverse background in the insurance industry, with significant experience in loss adjusting, claims management, and risk assessment.

William Korse's education history begins with their enrollment in the natural sciences' program at Upper Secondary School from 1984 to 1987. William then pursued further education at the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education, where they obtained a degree in Law specialized in insurance- and tort law from Stockholm University in 1997. Continuing their education, William completed the Executive Master of Leadership program from the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in 2004. Finally, in 2023, they completed the Diplomerad Risk Manager program in Enterprise Risk Management from the same institution.
