Stephen Keskes has a diverse work experience in the education field. Stephen is currently the Director of Grants and Academic Innovation at Stockbridge Community Schools, where they are responsible for writing and maintaining grants to provide high-quality educational experiences for the students. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at Okemos Public Schools and the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at Clio Area Schools.
Before their administrative roles, Stephen worked at Pinckney Community Schools as the Director of a National Demonstration Site Model 21st Century High School and Assistant Principal. Stephen also taught at Swartz Creek Community Schools and Hamady Middle High School.
Stephen Keskes has a strong education history that spans several years and includes multiple degrees. Stephen began their educational journey in 1993 at Eastern Michigan University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Teacher Certification, Communication, and English. Stephen successfully completed this program in 2000.
Afterward, Keskes continued their studies at Marygrove College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Master's degree focused on the Art of Teaching. Building on their knowledge and skills, they enrolled at Michigan State University from 2006 to 2008 and received an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree with a specialization in K12 Administration.
Driven by their passion for education, Keskes is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership at Michigan State University, which they are expected to complete in 2024. This extensive educational background demonstrates Keskes' commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of education.
