Kateryna Shmakova has been working in customer service since 2018. Kateryna began their career as a Customer Support Agent at Kromtech, where they worked on MacKeeper, a world-famous Mac optimization software. In 2019, they became a Customer Service Representative at Clario Tech, a consumer-focused cybersecurity company. Most recently, in 2022, they assumed the role of Customer Success Manager at Stobox Tokenization.

Kateryna Shmakova obtained a Bachelor's degree in Polish Language and Literature from Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University between 2015 and 2021.
