Bastien Castets has a diverse work experience. Bastien started their career as a Marketing Officer at Dolce Hotels & Resorts in 2011, before moving on to become a Sales Manager at SONODIM in 2012. In 2013, they joined Thales as an Ass. Project Manager, and later took on the role of ILS Manager - Communication systems. In 2016, Bastien co-founded SoundWave NZ Ltd where they served as a Director until 2017. Since then, they have worked at STid, first as a Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand, then as a Regional Sales Manager for South Europe, MENA - APAC, and most recently as a Regional Director of Sales for the same regions. In 2024, they became the Director - Emerging Markets at STid.

Bastien Castets completed a two-year university degree in technology with a focus on sales and marketing at Université de Poitiers from 2009 to 2011. Bastien then pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Trade at the European Institute for Music Industry (ITEMM) from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they attended OMNES Education and obtained a Master's degree (M1) in Business Management & Strategy. Finally, in 2013 to 2014, Bastien studied at IPAG Business School, completing a Master's degree in Strategy and business.
