Levi Vasconcelos has been in the tech industry for over 8 years. Levi started their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they built a new keypoint detector from scratch by fusing intensity and range information. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at the Fundação de Desenvolvimento da Pesquisa - FUNDEP, where they built a Python prototype and a C (C99) library of a Fuzzy Authentication Protocol. In 2017, Levi worked as a Software Engineer at Denox Brasil, and as a Computer Vision Engineer at Aeolus Robotics, Inc., where they collaborated on the design and development of several core computer vision components for a domestic robot showcased in CES 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Computer Vision Researcher at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. During this time, they were also the lead of technology of UniTn Team on the SPRING European Project for human behavior analysis at both individual and group levels. Currently, Levi is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Sticker Mule.
Levi Vasconcelos has a comprehensive educational background. Levi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Federal University of Ceara between 2008 and 2012. Afterwards, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais between 2013 and 2015. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Vision and Domain Adaptation at Università di Trento.
