Shivaprasad D has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Shivaprasad started their career as a Software Engineer at Kalkitech in 2010 and worked there until 2012. Shivaprasad then joined Stibo Systems in 2013 as a Software Engineer for a brief period. In 2014, Shivaprasad joined Cisco as a Software Engineer but only stayed for a few months. Later that year, they re-joined Stibo Systems as a Senior Software Engineer and worked on various projects, including STEP implementation for US and Europe customers. From 2018 to 2020, Shivaprasad took on the role of Lead Developer at Stibo Systems, where they played a key role in designing and delivering certification courses as part of the STIBO Academy. Currently, they serve as an R&D - Lead Developer at Stibo Systems, being responsible for requirement gathering, designing solutions, and developing requirements for STEP releases.

Shivaprasad D completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and several certifications related to the STIBO Systems.
