Daniel Olvera has extensive work experience in the field of reimbursement and regulatory reporting. Daniel currently holds the position of Corporate Director, Reimbursement at Steward Health Care. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Manager, Regulatory Reporting at Providence Health & Services, where they oversaw the transition of Covenant Health System into Providence St. Joseph Health. Before that, Daniel worked as a Regional Director, Reimbursement at Covenant Health, where they were responsible for Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and audits for multiple hospitals. Daniel also held the role of Director - Reimbursement at Valley Baptist Health System, where they directed the preparation of cost reports for hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Daniel Olvera attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1986, they attended Alvin Community College, also focusing on Accounting. In addition, Daniel Olvera obtained a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the Valley Baptist Health System, although the specific date of certification is unknown.
