Jeremy Messner has a diverse work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Jeremy began their career with Cargill in 2006 as an Accounting Technician. In 2007, they joined TransX as a Truckload Pricing Analyst and later took on the roles of Accountant and Traffic Manager. In 2014, Jeremy moved to UPS Supply Chain Solutions where they worked as an Account Manager until 2015. Jeremy then joined Bison Transport Inc. as an Account Manager until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Jeremy worked at Big Freight Systems Inc. in various roles including Manager of Network Analytics & Development and Vice President of Business Development. In 2021, they joined the Manitoba Trucking Association as a Board Member. Currently, Jeremy is the Vice President of Operations at Steve's Livestock Transport, a position they have held since June 2022. Jeremy also previously served as the Vice President of Business Development at Steve's Livestock Transport from October 2021 to June 2022.

Jeremy Messner's education history begins in 2004, when they attended Red River College Polytechnic for a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. Jeremy completed this program in 2006 and then went on to join the University of Manitoba, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting. Jeremy graduated from this program in 2008.

After their undergraduate studies, Jeremy furthered their education by joining the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they obtained their CPA, CMA Designation in Accounting.

In addition to their formal education, Jeremy Messner also pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2012, they obtained a Lean Greenbelt Certification from Lean Sensei International. In 2014, they became a Certified UPS Social Media Advocate through UPS. In 2015, they earned a Certificate in International Freight Forwarding from the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA). Most recently, in September 2021, Jeremy completed the Speaking as a Leader program offered by The Humphrey Group Inc.
