Christy Torres has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property law, currently serving as a Team Lead at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox since November 2010, where responsibilities include managing a team of US Patent Prosecution Legal Assistants and Project Assistants, as well as training and onboarding new staff. Previously, in the role of Client Relationship Liaison, Christy prepared monthly and quarterly budgets and reports. As a Paralegal, Christy prepared documents for submission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office and assisted in litigation and reexamination proceedings while managing client databases. Prior experience also includes working as an IP Assistant at Morrison & Foerster LLP, contributing to IP prosecution filings and client database management. Christy holds a B.A. in Anthropology & Sociology from Western Illinois University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
