Marc Rivard, SE, PE, currently serves as a Mass Timber Specialist at Sterling since March 2023. Previously, Marc worked as a Regional Manager at WoodWorks from July 2014 to March 2023, providing technical and design support for non-residential wood construction projects across all phases. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Structural Engineer at SDSE Engineers from June 2003 to July 2014, where Marc delivered structural engineering services for diverse projects, and earlier positions as a Structural Designer at FCI Constructors, Inc. and an Engineer-in-Training at CTS Structural Engineers. Marc's engineering journey began with a summer co-op at Jacobs Sverdrup in 2000. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has a thorough understanding of various building materials and codes.
