Ranjan Behera is an experienced analytical R&D scientist currently at Sterling Pharma Solutions, specializing in the development and validation of test methods for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Ranjan has a strong research background, having served as a graduate student researcher at Ames National Laboratory, where work focused on catalyst synthesis and the production of lubricants from plastic waste. Additionally, contributions as a graduate research assistant at Iowa State University involved synthesizing intermetallic catalysts for value-added chemical production. Ranjan has also held teaching and safety roles, demonstrating expertise in laboratory safety and training, while earlier experiences included research fellowships at prestigious institutions, leading to significant advancements in materials and organic synthesis. Ranjan holds a PhD in Chemistry from Iowa State University and an Integrated MSc in Chemical Science from the National Institute of Science Education and Research.
