Francesca Marsden currently serves as the Director of Operations at Sterling Bio Machines, focusing on the development of a novel bioreactor system for advancing synthetic biology. In addition to this role, Francesca is a Governor at Kensington Queensmill School, contributing to the board for a school dedicated to supporting children with autism and significant learning difficulties. Francesca holds a position as a Committee Member at ImpactVC, where collaboration on impact investment opportunities takes place. Previous experience includes a Senior Associate role at ZINC, which involved investing in health and climate solutions, and participation in the Newton Venture Program as a Venture Fellow. Earlier roles include overseeing corporate hospitality at Wimbledon and providing consultancy for a local charity during university studies at the University of Bristol, where Francesca earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography.
