Merel van der Sleen-Boessen is an experienced GZ-psychologist currently working at Sterk Huis since April 2023, after a lengthy tenure at HSK Groep from January 2016 to April 2023, where Merel specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy for various psychological issues, including anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. Previous roles include practice support for general practitioners at Huisartsenpraktijk Wijk en Aalburg, contributing to suicide prevention at Stichting 113Online, and providing developmental support for individuals with intellectual disabilities at Zorg-Los. Merel holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University and has further qualifications in cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR.
