John Jefferies is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Daxor Corporation and as a Board Member at The Able Channel. In addition, John holds the position of Research Professor at the University of Memphis School of Public Health and is the President of the American Heart Association Mid-South Chapter. As Co-Founder and Partner at Cotogna Sports Group, John focuses on investing in and developing sporting franchises. John has also been the Team Cardiologist for the Memphis Grizzlies and serves as Governor of the American College of Cardiology Tennessee Chapter. Previously, John was the Medical Director for US Cardiovascular at Bristol Myers Squibb and Director at the UT Methodist Cardiovascular Institute. Earlier in John's career, John practiced at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine and a current Executive MBA in Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School.
