Dr. Chantal Timmermans is a senior researcher and policy officer at Sterk Huis since June 2022, specializing in domestic violence, abuse, and exploitation. Concurrently, Dr. Timmermans has provided academic research and statistical support as a behavioral analyst and forensic psychologist at CIP International Research & Consultancy since January 2012. Previous roles include postdoctoral work at Qatar University's Transportation and Traffic Safety Center, analyzing mental health influences on driving behavior, and interim academic research with Politie Nederland, focusing on statistical analysis in criminal investigations. Dr. Timmermans holds a PhD and MSc in Investigative Psychology from The University of Huddersfield, an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University, and additional qualifications in Forensic Psychology and Psychology from Teesside University and Tilburg University, respectively.
