Tim Garrett has been working in the tech industry since 2009. Tim began their career as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. In 2016, they became an Application Programmer at Bank of America. Tim is currently a Student at College of DuPage and a Network Support Engineer at STEP CG, both positions they have held since 2020.

Tim Garrett has an education history that includes an Associate of Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the College of DuPage, obtained between 2020 and 2022. Tim also attended Joliet Junior College for General Studies from 2014 to 2015. In 2015 and 2016, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Welding from ETI School of Skilled Trades. Since 2016, they have been an alumni of Udemy, studying Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) from CWNP in July 2021, an OSHA 10hour certification, and a Welding Technician certification from ETI School of Skilled Trades.
