Brian Kim

Project Manager, Remote Services at Steno

Brian Kim has a diverse work experience. Brian started their career as an Arts Administration Intern at Hope Summer Repertory Theatre in 2018. Brian then worked as an Acting Company member at the same theater and also served as a Virtual Teaching Assistant at the university. In 2019, Brian worked as an Acting Intern at Illinois Shakespeare Festival and as a Barista at Caffe Paradiso. Brian ventured into the entertainment industry as an Actor at Industry Entertainment, Gray Talent Group, and BMG Talent from 2020 to 2022. During this time, they also worked as a Virtual Moderator at Virtual Producers. In 2020, Brian joined Steno as a Video Expert and later transitioned into the role of Operations Specialist, Remote Services. Brian was promoted to Senior Operations Specialist in 2023, where they played a key role in streamlining scheduling processes, implementing innovative tools, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Alongside their work at Steno, Brian also worked as an Assistant Poetry Editor & Photographer at Hooligan Magazine in 2023.

Brian Kim attended Warren Township High School from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Brian then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a concentration in Theatre, specifically focusing on acting. Brian Kim's education history includes their high school education at Warren Township High School and their higher education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
