Molly Poniatowski

8th Grade Level Lead at STEM Preparatory Schools

Molly Poniatowski has a diverse work experience in education and environmental science. Molly'smost recent position is at Rancho Solano Preparatory School as an Environmental Science/STEM Educator since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at STEM Preparatory Schools as an 8th Grade Level Lead and STEM Teacher from July 2019 to June 2022. Molly also has experience in higher education, serving as a Complex Director at SUNY New Paltz from January 2018 to August 2019, where they managed the operations of a residence hall and advised students. Molly also held various roles at SUNY New Paltz, including Graduate Assistant in the Department of Residence Life and Resident Assistant. Additionally, Molly worked as a Mad Scientist at Mad Science, engaging school-age children in interactive science experiments. Molly gained teaching experience as a Student Teacher in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District and Pine Bush Central School, where they created innovative lesson plans and utilized technology in the classroom. Molly completed the Bringing in the Bystander Facilitator program at SUNY New Paltz and earned the Distinguished Alumni accolade from the National Residence Hall Honorary, Laura Bennett Beaver Chapter. Moreover, they obtained the Step Up bystander Intervention Facilitator certification from the Step Up nonprofit.
