Mark Pierson has a long and varied work experience. Mark started their career in 1997 at Timeline, Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst, where they supported users on Timeline Accounting Software for VAX and ALPHA, provided in house consulting tasks, and restored data integrity following aborted post and update procedures. Mark then became a Software Testing Engineer, testing the Budgeting module for Timeline's Financial Analytics product suite, developing black box test cases, and making recommendations to development and product management teams. Mark then moved up to Product Manager, where they were responsible for all aspects of the development life cycle for several of Timelines current suite of products.

In 2005, Mark moved to Global Software, Inc. as a Product Owner/Manager. Mark was responsible for a team of developers to create and maintain a suite of enterprise level software, and used Scrum and Agile concepts to create and prioritize features and user stories.

Most recently, Mark has been working at Stellar One Consulting since 2018 as a Rapid Application Development Manager and Senior Technical Consultant. Mark is responsible for building integrations between cloud-based business applications and SAP Business One/ByDesign, creating custom modules within RFGen scanning software to connect to SAP Business One/ByDesign, customizing SAP Business One, and creating stored procedures, custom functions, views, and queries to support SAP custom reports and Power BI datasets.

Mark Pierson received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Client Server Programming from Bellevue Community College. Mark also holds certifications from edX in Introduction to Data Science (obtained in September 2018) and Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, as well as a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance (obtained in June 2016).
