Layla Soileau attended Louisiana State University from 1997 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in English with a focus on Writing and Culture. Prior to this, they briefly attended Northwestern State University in 1996. Layla also holds a certification as an IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competency (CPACC) from the IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals, which they obtained in 2023.
