Josh Wilbur has a long and varied work experience. From 2002 to 2017, they have held positions in a variety of industries, including coffee, technology, and faith-based organizations. In 2002, they founded Mellow Creations, where they were responsible for inventing, patenting, and licensing products. Josh then founded Axis Web Media in 2003, where they served as CEO and ran a full service creative agency with offices in the Bay Area and New England. In 2009, Josh became the Director of Guest Experience & Systems at Vintage Faith Church, where they pioneered and developed internal structure of small groups, 20-30's ministry, Connections and Hospitality ministries, key organization systems, and led a forum for new and non-believers. In 2010, they were the Associate Consultant at Sharkbait Labs, a boutique venture studio, and the Director of Sales and Marketing at SocialGuides, a social marketing platform for small and local businesses. In 2012, Josh founded Alchemy Surf, a surf design innovation company. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Founding Team, Director of Marketing & Experience at PayStand, a next-generation payment gateway. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, they were the COO at Bibliotheca.co, a company that designs and crafts Biblical literature for enjoyable reading.
Josh Wilbur attended Rollins College from 1998 to 2002, earning a BA in Area Studies: Art, English, Communications/Marketing. In 2001, they studied Marketing at the University of Sydney. Additionally, they obtained a certification from Maine Media Workshops for On Assignment with National Geographic Traveler.
