Derek Rienzi Van Tassel is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus and as an Office Administrative Assistant at Chicagoland Community Management LLC. With a diverse background in management and support roles, Derek has also worked as a House Manager for Steep Theatre Company, an HRIS Contractor for Addison Group, and an HR & Finance Support Specialist for Takoma Wellness Center. Previous experience includes General Manager at Greenhouse Theater Center and Guest Experience Lead at Exhale Spa. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago and an Associate of Arts in English Language and Literature from Northern Virginia Community College.
