Alok Singh Thakur has extensive experience in research, logistics, and analysis within the steel and commodities industries. Currently serving as Sr. Manager at SteelMint since May 2013, Alok has successfully led new research and development projects and managed global tracking of steel scrap data. Previous roles at SteelMint include Manager of Logistics, Senior Analyst, Data Analyst, Senior Associate Analyst, and Associate Analyst, where responsibilities ranged from data analysis and team management to in-depth market analysis of coal and iron ore. Alok's career began as an Associate Researcher at Nielsen, followed by positions in business development and marketing at FEI Cargo Ltd and Patel Roadways. Academically, Alok holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade and an MBA in Marketing, alongside a BBA, demonstrating a solid foundation in business management.
