Michael Stemmer has a diverse work experience in the steel industry. Michael started their career at Steel Warehouse in 2010 as an Inside Sales representative and later transitioned to the role of Outside Sales in 2015. In 2016, they joined Olympic Steel as an Outside Sales Representative and then advanced to become the Purchasing Manager in 2017. Stemmer returned to Steel Warehouse in 2018, where they initially worked as a Commodity Manager before being promoted to the position of Business Unit Manager in July 2021.

Michael Stemmer attended Indiana University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration.
