James Gilmour is an experienced video content manager and writer in the gaming industry. As the Head of Video at Steel Media Ltd since April 2013, James oversees video production for Steelmedia and PocketGamer, creating and managing video content for both the website and its YouTube channel, while also contributing news copy and design assets. Prior to this role, James worked as a Staff Writer for PocketGamer, focusing on mobile and handheld gaming news and reviews, and hosting the GMA-nominated Pocket Gamer podcast. James previously held a staff writing position at Ready Up, creating various written and audio-visual content, and completed an internship at CBS Interactive, contributing to the London Calling blog and The Gamespot UK Podcast. James holds a degree from Bournemouth University.
