Stef van Essen is an experienced animator with a background in 3D animation for various media, including games and children's programming. Currently serving as an animator at Steamroller Animation since May 2022, Stef previously contributed to "Fia's Fairies" at Little Moon Animation and worked on 3D animation and rotomation for the live-action series "Locke and Key" at Ghost VFX. Stef's early career included an internship at Submarine, participating in the preschool feature "2 Kleine Kleutertjes," and a role as a junior key animator at DVNC Tech LLC, where responsibilities included key and breakdown animations for the hand-drawn game "Monochrome RPG." Stef holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Arts from Breda University of Applied Sciences and furthered education at KYOSIL.
